On April 7, the capital of Latvia Riga hosted the 45th championship of Latvia on solving chess problems and studies.
At the start there were 25 solvers from Latvia, Lithuania and Russia. The organizers of the competition - Yulia Vysotskaya, and Ilya Ketris, who picked up a job for the participants. In each of 2 rounds for the 105 minutes were asked to solve a two-mover,move, mnogohodovki study, co-op, reverse the Mat and cooperative-the opposite Mat.
A maximum possible 70 points.
Having scored 50 points out of 70, Andrey Selivanov (Russia) took the first place.
In second place with 49 points Vidmantas Satkus (Lithuania), in third place with 46 points Martynas Limontas (Lithuania).
