The Polish Chess Federation announces an international formal tourney dedicated to the great Polish composer Eugeniusz IWANOW in the following sections:
• selfmates in 2 moves [s#2] - judge FIDE master Marcin Banaszek
• selfmates in 3-6 moves [s#3-6] - judge national master Jarosław Brzozowicz Theme free.
Fairy problems are not allowed.
Prizes, honourable mentions and commendations will be awarded.
Compositions on diagrams with complete solution and comments in English should be prepared in PDF format and sent to the Director of the tourney Krzysztof Drążkowski: mt.iwanow@wp.pl
The position in the diagram should also be provided in the FEN format. In each section, the author can submit a maximum of three problems. Closing date: September 30, 2024
All received problems will be presented to the judges in an anonymous form.
